Each player has a set amount of chips that they must bet with each round. After the first betting round is complete the dealer puts three cards on the board that everyone can use, this is called the flop. Then another betting round takes place. If you have strong cards, like AQ, try to reduce the number of opponents in your hand by calling or raising pre-flop. This will force the weak hands out and raise the value of your hand.

If you have a weak hand and the flop doesn’t improve it, you should fold. It’s not worth wasting money on hoping for that one card you need to win. Besides, every card you call costs money. It adds up quickly, especially if you’re doubling up with bad hands.
