Let Us Look at Some Travel

Info Sep 15, 2021

Travel is the transfer of individuals between different geographical locations, often by foot, by automobile, by train, by boat, by plane or on other means and is one way or another traveled. With so many ways to travel, what is travel all about? Travel may be one thing to someone else and quite another to you.

There are three general types of travel: the routine form of travel where you go to the same place every day and get a similar experience; the non-routine form of travel where you do something different every day; and the irregular or unexpected travel where you are literally ‘on the spot’ and may be in a different place at the moment you set out. Routine travel occurs almost everywhere and normally involves a flight or boat to a destination, a hotel, a railway station or an airport and maybe even a bus or train to get to your final destination. Non-routine travel is more like going on a vacation or sightseeing – it involves less planning and perhaps fewer resources but can still be very exciting. The irregular or surprise travel lets you travel where you want to and does not have to follow any pre-planned route. It brings a great deal of excitement and challenge to a trip as well as letting you visit new places.

So what kind of person would enjoy the non-routine or unexpected travel? People who like to explore new places by foot, by bicycle or by car, people who like variety in their surroundings and the occasional non-routine stop for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee are good candidates for this kind of travel. Those who like routine travel, especially those who live close to their destinations would also enjoy this type of travel. This allows leisure and relaxation at the same time.
