Online gambling is any type of gambling conducted online. This includes casinos, online poker and virtual poker. Online gambling is very different to land based gambling because there are no physical card tables. Today there are many online betting sites available. However as previously stated many jurisdictions prohibit online gambling and in most cases the U.S. government considers online gambling to be illegal activity. In some states online gambling is legal; however the majority of states prohibit online gambling and in most cases individuals who are caught in the act of online gambling can face serious criminal charges including criminal fines. Gambling can be a very fun and interesting hobby and it is up to each individual to determine what they want to get out of their gambling experience.
